This is an advanced level race!! We will give you 24 hours to get as many points as possible. This course will be clearable in 24 hours so planning and strategy is key to getting as many points as possible in under 24 hours. These racers will be conquering three different mountain ridges during the race and crossing the finish line in under the 24 hour time limit. This course will give you lots of route options and racers will have pre plotted maps as well and 1:24 UTM maps they will need to plot. If you are interested in taking the step up to a multi day race this is the race for you to test your skills and limits. DO NOT sign up for this adventure race unless someone on your team has race experience. This is a Point to Point race and you will be on the course surviving the elements for 24 hours!!

6 Hour Race Description

We have designed a fun and exciting course to allow experienced and new racers the opportunity to experience adventure racing at it best.  We have a great course for you to run, bike, paddle, and navigate your way around in an awesome area of the Shenandoah Valley and the town of Orkney Springs. This course is designed for new athletes entering into the wonderful world of adventure racing.  It's also designed for the athlete who wants to push hard the entire race and improve their skills in adventure racing.  Grab a group of your friends and form a team.  We will give you a map and some basic rules to follow.  You will then set out and create a strategy for your adventure to get checkpoints by hiking, biking and paddling to different locations.  The team with the most points in the allotted time will win.
