Event Details
-
Each event includes snowshoes, trekking poles, and a guided tour along scenic trails in the National Forest.
-
Snowshoeing is a fantastic group activity, so gather your friends and family and join us on the mountain! Larger groups may also be accommodated with advance notice—please contact us for details.
-
Be sure to check the weather forecast on the day of your event. One thing that can quickly put a damper on a snowshoe outing is wearing the wrong clothing. Dressing in layers—or in clothing that allows you to unzip and ventilate—is ideal. Hats, gloves or mittens, goggles, and face masks are also recommended in colder conditions. Some participants like to bring a small day pack with water and an extra layer of clothing.
-
We recommend wearing wool or wool-blend socks to keep your feet warm. Any snow boots or sturdy hiking shoes will work well for the outing.
Understanding the requirements to participate:
Age - minimum 7 years old
Weight - Under 250 lbs.
