Race Description

The REV3Endurance Frozen Foot Adventure Race is a winter adventure race (bike and trek only) in Northern Virginia on March 16th, 2024. The race will explore the Conway Robinson State Forrest and surrounding areas near the Manassas Battlefield. This is an excellent early-season race to warm-up your skills while having a great day full of adventure.

12 Hour Race Estimated Distance (Sell Out is 75 Racers)

Total distance for the race is 70+ miles dependent upon route selections. 45 miles of mountain biking, and 7-20 miles of trekking. Biking will be varied across trail systems, road, and gravel.

Soloist 12 Hour

$200.00 for soloists until registration closes at midnight January 2nd, 2025
$225.00 for soloists until registration closes at midnight March 9th, 2025

Teams 12 Hour (2, 3 & 4 Person Team Options Available)

$190.00 for per person until registration closes at midnight January 2nd 2025
$215.00 for per person until registration closes at midnight March 9th, 2025

3-9 miles. 4 on a scale of 1-10 (First time adventure racers will be challenged. This is for beginner to intermediate racers with no major mountains to climb).
Estimated Distances: 3+ miles of trekking & 6+ miles of Biking.

March 14, 2025 - Early Packet Pick-up 4:45 pm - 6:45pm at TBD
March 15, 2025 - Race Day Packet Pick-up is 7:45 am - 8:45 am at TBD
Race Day Itinerary:
7:30 am: Transition area opens at TBD by the REV3Endurance Trailer - TBD
7:45 am: Race Day Check-In (You must check-in at least 1 hour before your race)
9:00 am: 12 Hour Pre-race brief (Mandatory for all team captains)
9:30 am: 12 Hour Race Starts
9:45 am: 4 Hour Race Check-In
10:15 am: Prerace Briefing 4 Hour Race (Mandatory for all team captains)
11:00 am: 4 Hour Adventure Race start
3:00 pm: 4 hour Racers must be off the course
3:15 pm: 4 Hour Racer Awards or rolling awards for early finisher
8:00 pm: 12 Hour Racers must be off the course * Time modification due to course changes.
8:30 pm: 12 Hour Racer Awards ceremony or rolling awards for early finishers

Race Packet Pickup

Packet pickup location will be at TBD It is required that all forms be completely filled out and signed for each member of your team. You will get your race t-shirt, race map, Rules of Travel and race bib numbers at packet pick-up.

Equipment Provided By REV3Endurance

Race maps, race passport and Rules of Travel (ROT) will be provided by REV3Endurance in your packet.

Mandatory Equipment (Responsibility of each team and\or Racer)

REV3Endurance will not be checking in mandatory equipment. REV3Endurance will be checking randomly throughout the race for mandatory equipment. Missing mandatory equipment will result in points being deducted from your total score.

Mandatory Equipment

This equipment is for your own safety and self rescue.

Enough food and water for the event
Bike (gravel, MTB, hybrid, recumbent, unicycle, but no E bikes!)
Bike Helmet, Bike Lights, Bike repair (tube, plugs, pump, mini tool, chain link, etc.)
Clothing appropriate for weather conditions
Cell phone fully charged
Dry bag for your cell phone
Outside maps are allowed if you want!

Transitions

You will be going through transition at various times in the race to resupply. There is potable water on one of the trek sections and plenty of flowing water that you can treat in the bike section.

We do provide sweet and salty snacks and drinks at the finish line. Please feel free to bring beverages and snacks with you.
