24 Hour Race Description

REV3Endurance Seven Bends 24 Hour Adventure Race.  Are you ready for this incredible Intermediate to Advanced level adventure race? We have a great course for you to run, bike, paddle, and navigate your way around and explore the Shenandoah Valley and Seven Bends State Park!  Race solo or form a team of endurance friends to tackle this course.  We will give you a map and some basic rules to follow.  You will then set out on your adventure to get checkpoints by hiking, biking and paddling.  The team with the most points in the allotted time will win!  It's a fun event and you and your friends will get to experience the adventure of finding all the different checkpoints throughout Woodstock and Seven Bends State Park in this endurance challenge!

6 Hour Race Description

REV3Endurance Woodstock Sprint Adventure Race.  Are you ready for this incredible beginner adventure race? We have a great course for you to run, paddle, bike and navigate your way around the Seven Bends State Park and the Town of Woodstock, Virginia.  You can pick how long you want to be on the course.  Race for three hours or race to complete the course in under 6 hours. You will explore the new Seven Bends State Park and grab checkpoints along the way!  Grab a group of your friends and form a team or race solo.  We'll give you a map and some basic rules to follow.  You will then set out on your adventure to get checkpoints by hiking, biking and paddling.  The team with the most points in the allotted time will win!  It's a fun event and you and your family/friends will get to experience the adventure of finding all the different checkpoints throughout Seven Bends State Park and the town of Woodstock, VA!

 

24 Hour Race Estimated Distance (Sell Out is 100 Racers)

65-85 miles (Racers have 24 hours to get as many points possible and cross the finish line)
Estimated Distance = 12 Miles of Paddling, 15 Miles of Trekking, 35+ Miles of Biking

Soloist 24 Hour

  • $320.00 for soloists until December 31st, 2021    

  • $380.00 for soloists until February 28th, 2022    

  • $400.00 for soloists until registration closes at midnight April 1st, 2022​
     

Teams 24 Hour (2 & 4 Person Team Options Available)​

  • $300.00 per person until December 31st, 2021    

  • $360.00 per person until February 28th, 2022

  • $380.00 for per person until registration closes at midnight April 1st, 2022
     

6 Hour Race Estimated Distance (Sell Out is 125 Racers)

5-9 miles
Estimated Distances: 2 Miles of Paddling, 5 miles of trekking, 7 miles of Biking.

Soloist​

  • $90.00 for soloists until January 1st, 2021 

  • $110.00 for soloists until February 28th, 2022 

  • $150.00 for soloists until registration closes at midnight ​​April 1st, 2022


Teams (2, 3, or 4 Person Team Options Available)​

  • $80.00 per team member until January 1st, 2021

9 on a scale of 1-10 (Experienced racers that want to try to clear their first course)

 

6 Hour Course

5 on a scale of 1-10 (First time adventure racers will be challenged.  This is for beginners\Intermediate racers with no major mountains to climb)
 

Race Schedule of Events

  • Early Packet Pick-up 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Seven Bends State Park - 1191 Lupton Road, Woodstock, VA 22664, Woodstock, VA 22664

  • Race Day Packet Pick-up is 7:15 am - 8:15 am at Seven Bends State Park

  • Race Day Itinerary: 

  • 7:00 am: Transition area opens, marked area

  • 7:15 am: Race Day Registrations opens
    (You must check-in at least 1 hour before your race)

  • 9:00 am: 24 Hour Pre-race brief (Mandatory for all team captains)

  • 9:30 am: 24 Hour Race Starts

  • 9:35 am: 6 Hour Pre-race brief (Mandatory for all team captains)

  • 10:00 am: 6 Hour Race Starts

  • 4:00 pm: 6 hour Racers must be off the course

  • 4:30 pm: 6 Hour Racer Awards

  • Sunday April 10th

  • 9:30 am: 24 Hour Racers must be off the course

  • 10:00 am: 24 Hour Racer Awards ceremony or rolling awards for early finishers

 

Race Packet Pickup

Packet pickup location will be at Seven Bends State Park. It is required that all forms be completely filled out and signed  for each member of your team.  You will get your race t-shirt, race map, Rules of travel and any race numbers at packet pick-up.

Equipment Provided By Rev3Endurance

All gear necessary for water portions of the race will be provided. This may include, but not limited to: Watercraft (Kayaks or Canoes) , paddles, and PFDs.  Race maps, race passport and Rules of Travel will also be provided by Rev3Endurance. 

Mandatory Equipment (Responsibility of each team and\or Racer)

Rev3Endurance will not be checking in mandatory equipment. Rev3Endurance will be checking randomly throughout the race for mandatory equipment.  Missing mandatory equipment will result in points being decreased from your total score.

Transitions

You will be going through transition late in the race to resupply before the final orienteering course.

Post-Race Food

Food will not be served during the award ceremony after the race.  Please bring some beverages and snacks with you. 

 

Results

Unofficial results will be announced at the awards ceremony and post-race official results will be posted to our website 24 – 48 hour after the event.
