REV3Endurance Knox Xtreme 10-Hour Adventure Race
We’re celebrating the 6th year of the Knox Xtreme Adventure Race with an all-new 10-hour edition in 2027!
Get ready for an unforgettable endurance challenge featuring paddling, trekking, mountain biking, and navigation through the rugged terrain of South Knoxville and the Urban Wilderness. This is your chance to test your limits, sharpen your strategy, and experience adventure racing at its finest.
Race Overview
The 10-hour course (50+ miles) is built to test your endurance, teamwork, and grit across three core disciplines:
-
7+ miles of paddling
-
12+ miles of trekking
-
30+ miles of mountain and road biking
Racers will cover more than 50 miles of diverse terrain, navigating greenways, roads, rivers, and some of Knoxville’s premier outdoor spaces.
Expect to explore iconic locations including Baker Creek Preserve, Marie Myers Park, William Hastie Nature Area, Burnett Creek Easement, Forks of the River Wildlife Area, and Meads Quarry Park—all part of Knoxville’s renowned Urban Wilderness.
What to Expect
Race solo and push your personal limits, or team up and take on the challenge together. Armed with a map and race instructions, you’ll navigate your way through checkpoints by biking, trekking, and paddling.
The course is divided into three stages and will include at least one surprise mental or physical challenge along the way. Not every racer will clear the entire course—this event is designed to push your endurance, strategy, and decision-making under pressure.
Are you ready to go all in for 10 hours of Knoxville adventure?

REV3Endurance Knox Xtreme 5-Hour Adventure Race
Ready to take on an intermediate-level adventure race that will test your endurance, navigation, and teamwork?
The REV3Endurance Knox Xtreme 5-Hour Adventure Race will have you trekking, biking, paddling, and navigating your way through the stunning trails and waterways of South Knoxville and the Urban Wilderness.
Race Overview
The 5-hour course covers approximately 20–30 miles of diverse terrain, including:
-
3+ mile of paddling
-
5+ miles of trekking
-
20+ miles of mountain biking and pavement
You’ll explore some of South Knoxville’s best greenway and mountain biking areas as you search for checkpoints scattered throughout the region.
How It Works
Race solo and push your limits, or team up with friends for an unforgettable day of adventure. Each racer will receive a map and race instructions before setting out to navigate the course using only their skills—collecting as many checkpoints as possible by biking, trekking, and paddling.
The team (or individual) with the most points at the end of the 5-hour time limit wins!
This event is all about strategy, exploration, and fun—a perfect way to experience the best of Knoxville’s outdoors while testing your endurance and teamwork.
