North Mountain Trail Work Day

Our next TRAIL WORK DAY is scheduled for Sunday, November 22nd. We’ll be working on the North Mountain Trail from Crooked Run to Tomahawk Pond. We’ll start at 9:30AM and shuttle vehicles/volunteers to the top of the mountain with ATV's and tools. This is a six mile section of trail so we’ll create a few crews to hit different sections of the trail. This trail is used in our Conquer the Mountain adventure races and our mountain bike races. We cleared it in the Spring and it needs to be cleared again this Fall. We’ll be maintaining these trails for year round usage by the biking/hiking community

We’ll meet at our Rev3 Warehouse at the Basye Land Company (formerly the Blue Ridge Truss Buildings) at 9:30AM. Please bring your weed eaters, hedge clippers, chainsaws, and/or anything you feel comfortable operating. If you don't have them, we do. Don’t worry, if you aren’t comfortable operating power tools, there’s plenty to do with your hands (rakes, pruning shears, etc).

Pack a lunch, bring some water and don’t forget your work gloves. We may finish early depending on how many folks show up

Post trail work, you can ride/hike the trail if you like and opt to take the purple trail to the bottom. Rev3 Endurance will buy the first round of drinks at the Copper Kettle after a day in the woods

Any questions or to let us know you can join us, email Christi@rev3endurance.com

Hope to see you on the mountain!.
