12 Hour Adventure Race

Are you ready to race hard and push yourself to your breaking point?  If so, our 12 Hour Adventure Race is our most challenging race.  This is an advanced level race!!  We will give you 12 hours to get as many points as possible.  This course will be clearable in 12 hours so planning and strategy is key to getting as many points as possible in under 12 hours.  These racers will be conquering three different mountain ridges during the race and crossing the finish line in under the 12 hour time limit. This course will give you lots of route options and racers will have pre plotted maps as well and 1:24 UTM maps they will need to plot.  If you are interested in taking the step up to a 24 hour or multi day race this is the race for you to test your skills and limits.  DO NOT sign up for this adventure race unless someone on your team has race experience.  This is a Point to Point race and you will be on the course surviving the elements for 12 hours!!

8 Hour Race Description

Our races take place in the mountain terrain of Shenandoah county Virginia.  This is a true adventure race that will push you to your limits. Our goal is that you bend but don't break. The estimated distance for the 8 hour race will be around 30 - 40 miles. The breakdown will be 2-3 miles of paddling, 3-5 miles of trekking and 20+ miles of mountain biking. If you are new to adventure racing, try our sprint adventure races and build up to the half day races.  These are designed to push you to your limits to try  to clear the course.
